The PropertySafe Strategy

PropertySafe provides a unique and proven inspection and reporting service to reduce the chance of damages claims against property management professionals resulting from preventable injuries to tenants.

Our team assess residential properties on behalf of their owners and provide recommendations that maximise the safety of occupants. Our safety report identifies 16 risk areas and inspect in excess of 120 individual risks that exist around the property.

Our specialised reports for individual minimum housing standards for state legislation is also available in NSW and VIC, including bi-annual gas and electrical compliance reporting.

Types of reports we offer

The Investor Safety inspection has been designed to reduce the risk of damages claims against property management professionals or landlords resulting from preventable injuries to tenants or visitors to the premises.

The Safer Home Evaluation service covers minimum rental standards with optional gas and electrical safety compliance checks, completed in ONE inspection.

The Fit for Habitation inspection covers the seven minimum standards required for rental properties within NSW.

The process

The annual PropertySafe strategy is simple to implement. All correspondence to promote the PropertySafe Reports can be provided as a template. You can alter the templates if you choose to so that the emails are written in your own words and addressed from you. 

As a professional you are simply recommending your landlords invest in a report to help identify hazards, educate them about their property and offer a compliance solution to ensure they meet legislated standards. If they accept, their decision will help to better protect people at the property and reduce the likelihood of compensation claims for all parties. 

We have refined and tested the communication strategy to maximise the number of landlords that will voluntarily order a report based off the information supplied. This assists in giving your agency the best protection from claims. 

We recommend you send the campaign annually to help stay on top of any potential risks that may occur within that time. That’s it. Educate, recommend, demonstrate best practice and reduce your business risk immediately.
